Tourist Information Centre of Reuilly

The flavour of countryside

The Tourist Information Centre of Reuilly was created in 1986. Three missions were attributed to it :

  • To be the image of the Berry and the Champagne Berrichonne ;
  • To welcome the tourists and  people from the village in a friendly atmosphere ;
  • To give its support to animations and to cultural and gastronomic development.

The whole Tourist Information Centre of Reuilly – third category – includes :

  • Entrée de l'office de tourismeA reception room with exhibitions ;
  • A Marius Jacob museum, an anarchist-burglar of the nice time who finished his life to Reuilly;
  • A museum about the vines and the local wine, with two little nearby cellars ;
  • A  19th century house of Reuilly, presenting a berrichon inside of that century and the evolution of the vineyard of Reuilly ;
  • A museum dedicated to Paul Surtel, painter from the “Ecole Provençale”, at the end of  impressionism ;
  • A garden-vine with a lodge ;
  • A small medieval garden situated behind the church, near the railroad line;
  • A museum of the Champagne Berrichonne, next to the reception room.

In this green setting, steeped in history, a slogan : “Reuilly, the flavour of countryside”.
